Junior Church
Religious education with a lively fun orientated approach
We are blessed at West Street with a large number of children of all ages. Often on a Sunday, children and parents begin the morning's worship together in the church. After the children's address and offertory, the children go to their respective Junior Church Groups.
Some weeks our young members enjoy an all age worship this is usually preceded by Breakfast Club starting at 8.30 am providing fun, fellowship and breakfast.
The aim of the Junior Church is clear. Through the use of modern day materials, we enable each child to develop a Christian understanding that relates the gospel to their everyday life. This programme is enjoyed by all the children in that it mixes the serious aspects of Religious Education with a lively fun orientated approach.
All ages come together several times during the year for Junior Church services where the children prepare and present a theme based service to the whole church. These are greatly enjoyed by adults and children alike.
We have a strong network of Leaders in each department to enable continuity with many fun events on the programme it is worth keeping up to date with our latest plans and events.
