Scouts, Cubs and Guides at Dorking United Reformed Church

Dorking United Reformed Church is proud to be home to a thriving community of Scout and Guide groups, offering young people aged 5 to 18 the opportunity to develop new skills, build lasting friendships, and enjoy exciting adventures.

Our groups meet throughout the week in our excellent facilities, providing a safe and welcoming environment where children and young people can grow in confidence, learn important life skills, and have great fun along the way.

Whether your child is just starting their Scouting or Guiding journey with our youngest Beavers and Rainbows, or looking to take on greater challenges with our Explorer Scouts, there’s a place for everyone.

Our dedicated volunteer leaders are committed to helping each young person reach their potential through a balanced programme of games, outdoor activities, community service, and personal development.

All groups welcome new members and we’re always happy to arrange a visit so you can see what we’re all about.

Mondays

Beaver Scout Colony – for boys and girls aged 6 to 8, meets during the school term at 17:30 in the Follett Hall.

Cub Scout Pack – for boys and girls aged 8 to 11, meets during the school term at 6.45 pm in the Follett Hall.

Guide Company – for girls aged 10 to 14, meets during the school term at 7.00 pm at the Faurefold Girlguiding Surrey East Campsite.

Tuesays

Brownie Guides – for girls aged 7 to 11, meets during the school term at 5.30 pm in the Follett Hall.

Dorking Area Explorer Scout Unit meets fortnightly at 7.00 pm

Wednesdays

Scout Troop – for boys and girls aged 10 to 14; meets during the school term at 7.30 pm in the Main Hall.

Thursdays

Rainbow Guides – for girls aged 5 to 7, meets during the school term at 5.45 pm in the Follett
Hall.
