Young Church
🌟 Young Church – Worship with Wonder
First Sunday of the Month | 10:30am | Dorking URC
At Young Church, children and young people are invited to explore faith in fun, hands-on ways—while staying connected to the themes of worship. It’s a space where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and everyone feels part of the church family.
🎨 What to Expect:
- Age-appropriate activities linked to the adult service theme
- Crafts, games, storytelling, and reflection
- A chance to ask big questions in a safe, welcoming space
- Led by a friendly team of volunteers with DBS checks
👋 Who It’s For: Children and young people of all ages—whether they’re bursting with energy or quietly curious. Parents are welcome to stay or join the main service, knowing their children are engaged and cared for.

Messy Church
🎨 Messy Church – Faith, Fun & Food for All Ages
Monthly | First Wednesday | 3:30–6:00pm | Dorking URC
Messy Church is church—but not as you know it. It’s a vibrant, hands-on gathering where families, children, grandparents, and curious souls of all ages come together to explore faith through creativity, celebration, and shared meals.
🖌️ What Happens at Messy Church:
- Creative Activities: Each session is built around a Bible theme, explored through crafts, games, and storytelling.
- Inclusive Worship: A short celebration with songs and reflection, designed to be accessible and engaging for all ages.
- Shared Meal: We end with tea— “Messy Pasta”—bringing everyone together around the table.

Smallfry
🐣 Welcome to Smallfry – A Place to Play, Connect & Grow
Wednesdays during term time | 9:30am–12:00pm | Main Hall, Dorking URC
Looking for a friendly space where little ones can explore, create, and make new friends—while grown-ups enjoy a cuppa and connect with others?
Smallfry is a long-standing toddler group run by Dorking United Reformed Church, offering a warm welcome to children (0–4 years) and their carers.
🎨 What to Expect:
- Engaging crafts and sensory play
- Storytime and singing to spark young imaginations
- Safe, spacious play zones for toddlers and babies
- Refreshments for adults and children
- A supportive team of DBS checked volunteers

Dorking My Time
(for young carers aged 7 to 11 years) meets on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month from 5.30 to 7.00 pm in the Main Hall.

My Time +
For those aged 12 to 16 years) meets on the 4th Monday of each month from 7.00 to 8.30 pm in the Living Room. There are no meetings during August. Contact: www.mytime4youngcarers.org
My Time is an independently run activity, supported by the church.
